As a young adult on the verge of receiving your university or polytechnic qualification, no
doubt you have many opportunities knocking at your door - the prospect of a successful
career, travel to faraway lands, a fulfilling family life, to name a few. The desirable
opportunity always leads to something more. To be trained in the Full-Time Training is
just such an opportunity, an opportunity to be built up spiritually and humanly during two
years of seeking the Lord and His interests. We are witnessing great upheaval in our
world today. Nations are warring. Natural disasters are intensifying. Degradation is
prevailing over the earth, invading every aspect of society, including religion. But God is
intent on fulfilling His purpose of building up the Body of Christ. The priesthood at Samuel’s time fell away from God’s word and did everything but serve God. God’s people at
Daniel’s time were captives in the idolatrous land of Babylon and were defiled by evil
elements. God needed some to stand with Him against the tide and to put down His
enemy. So the Lord called Samuel and Daniel in the midst of those dark times to be men
who turned the age. Today the Lord is still calling. He wants to turn the age again, and
for this He needs young people who will cooperate with Him for the fulfilment of His
eternal purpose. We have the opportunity to respond. Who will stand up to meet His
need?
