Study the Bible is a free course available on the Internet. You will enjoy the experience of studying the Bible! To make it more interesting we have a variety of subjects—truth, life, gospel and church. This can be likened to a balanced meal with a number of components.

Study the Bible is designed for senior highschool students and young people, so adults will be able to study the course as well. If English is your second language, you may need to spend more time studying the lessons.

Study the Bible lessons take around three hours to complete. If you use 30 minutes per day six days per week, you will finish four lessons per month (one from each line). Each line has 30 lessons, so if you study just 30 minutes per day you will complete the course in 30 months.

Each lesson has three parts: study (mainly books, but some lessons have text online), assessment (online) and an activity (sometimes including a report to NZTC). There are a summary, an introduction and instructions given in each lesson online.

Our textbook is the Bible, the world’s best seller, and we will use several books as helps. We hope you will enjoy the interactive, automated assessment provided online.

You will need to obtain the required books. You can get them in the following ways:

1.

Borrow them.

2.

(in New Zealand) Purchase from Auckland Truth Book Room

3.

Purchase from www.Amazon.com

4.

Use the free online books—English available from www.ministrybooks.org (Recovery Version available from www.recoveryversion.org). Chinese available from www.lsmchinese.org. (Note: only some texts are available.)

Many of the books will be used for the Full-Time Training or Summer School of Truth, so your investment in these books will be well worth it! We have added a list of recommended books, giving all the references of quoted material. Most of these are available from the sources listed above.

If you cannot obtain the books please let us know and we will try to help. We have set out what books are required for which lessons, so if you wish you can select parts of the course to study.

When you complete the course, you will receive an NZTC Certificate. For New Zealand young people, completing the course is part of a scholarship offer for the Full-Time Training. Contact us for details concerning this.
